Marilyn Laverty

Marilyn Laverty is founder and president of Shore Fire Media. A graduate in philosophy from Cornell University, she started her career at the Ithaca Journal, then moved to New York City where she worked as a freelancer for U.S. and British music magazines, before becoming VP of Publicity at Columbia Records. In recent years, Marilyn has twice been named one of Billboard magazine’s top “Women in Music.”
