Creation

Dolphin Entertainment finances, develops, and produces content for all mediums. Dolphin Entertainment announced in May 2022 a co-financing and co-production deal with IMAX for a slate of feature documentaries. The first project in the slate is The Blue Angels with producing partners Bad Robot, Glen Powell, and Zipper Bros. Productions. In May 2023, worldwide rights were acquired by Amazon Studios. The film will be released theatrically in IMAX followed by a streaming release on Amazon Prime in May 2024. Dolphin Entertainment is currently developing robust scripted and unscripted feature and series slates.

Series & Television

Founded by Emmy-nominated producer Bill O’Dowd, Dolphin Entertainment has produced hundreds of hours of award-winning television, digital, and feature film content for nearly three decades. Dolphin’s series division has produced for a variety of networks such as ABC, CBS, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, and MTV. Dolphin has produced digital content for streamers such as YouTube, and Hulu.

Feature Films

In 2016, Dolphin launched Dolphin Films to finance and produce feature films. Dolphin Films produced the Justin Bieber concert documentary Justin Bieber’s Believe (directed by Jon M. Chu). Dolphin Films partnered with Mattel to finance and produce Max Steel (starring Andy Garcia and Maria Bello).

Staple Gin, the new recipe-driven spirit from culinary icon Rachael Ray and crafted in the heart of New York’s Catskills region by the award-winning team at Do Good Spirits, won Double Gold and a 96 point rating at the 15th Annual New York International Spirits Competition, with Do Good Spirits named New York Gin Distillery of the Year. The team at Dolphin’s subsidiary, The Door, continues to be involved in the brand’s development, including execution of marketing initiatives, PR planning, trade relationships, strategic partnerships and awards campaigns on behalf of Staple Gin.

Dolphin has partnered with Pure Brands Company, a developer of a portfolio of alcohol-based beverage brands that are focused on quality, transparency, and authenticity; including Buena Fé – a 100% agave tequila canned drink – and Not a Celebrity Tequila – a traditionally made tequila brand.

Loti AI

Dolphin has partnered with Loti AI — a leader in likeness protection technology — to protect its brands, partners, and celebrity clients against fake accounts, false endorsements, explicit deepfakes, and unlicensed distribution of content. Through the partnership, Dolphin will provide its roster of hundreds of brands, celebrities, content creators, and talent with access to Loti’s proprietary tools in order to better protect their intellectual property or likeness from being unlawfully used or infringed upon online.

Mastercard Midnight Theatre

Mastercard Midnight Theatre is a state-of-the-art performance venue in the heart of New York’s Manhattan West, attached to an equally elegant and lively restaurant and bar. The ultra-glamorous, intimate 150-seat theater is a showcase for talent across a wide variety of entertainment, including magic, music, comedy, and Broadway cabarets.
