Build a craft spirits brand from scratch through existing relationships and client partners to disrupt the gin category.

After marketing and building brands in the wine and spirits industry since 2008, it was time to take that expertise and create a product from scratch. Through insights pertaining to the future growth of the gin category, we approached culinary icon and longtime client, Rachael Ray, to develop a botanical recipe for the spirit that embodied her New York State roots and her passion for Italy. We partnered her up with renowned distillery Do Goods Spirits out of Roscoe, NY and Staple Gin was born.

Our teams have been involved in all stages of the spirit’s development, including the marketing, PR and trade relations campaigns that lead to the launch of Staple Gin in May of 2024. Staple Gin has been so well received that Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, the country’s largest distributor and longstanding Dolphin client, has come on as a partner. It has also received brand defining accolades, including from the “bible of the spirits industry,” VinePair, which named it one of the 30 Best Gins of 2024 and the Best Gin Under $50.
